October 01, 2014: The 28th Lufthansa Junior Golf Tour In Association with Callaway Golf was held this Sunday at the Golden Greens in Gurgaon. Eager children swung their way around the course with great confidence and skill as they competed for the many awards on offer for their talents. Armaan Anand won the boys Category A honours with 31 points, while Anmol Handa was runner-up just two points behind the winner. The event was scored on the basis of the Stableford scoring system.
The category B boys category was a tight contest that went to the wire. Both Manav Bais and Daksh Shoukeen finished with 32 points each, but the former won the category on the basis of a count back.
There was no such tension to identify the winner of the category A+B girls event – Shweta Man Singh outscored Tarinni Sameer Kakar by four points to clinch a comfortable victory. Shweta scored 25 points, while Tarinni finished with 21.
The category C for boys also saw a tight match between Pratyush Sharma and Karan Soin. Both golfers finished on 30 points each, with Sharma being declared the winner on count back.
