July 11, 2017: Fans can enjoy an evening of world class golf – and much more – as twilight tickets for the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open go on sale.

Fans will have the chance to see a host of the world’s best golfers, including World Number Four Rory McIlroy, The Open Champion Henrik Stenson, 2013 Masters Tournament winner Adam Scott, and American stars including Rickie Fowler, Matt Kuchar and Patrick Reed, at Dundonald Links in Scotland, the Home of Golf, from 13-16 July.

With the final putt scheduled to drop at approximately 7.30 pm each day, fans who purchase a twilight ticket could enjoy more than four hours of golf. Plus there’s an added bonus on both Friday and Saturday, with live bands playing at the close of play on the show stage in the Championship Village.

On Friday evening, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers will entertain the crowd with their ground-breaking fusion of traditional Scottish music and rock/pop anthems – which they proudly call “bagrock”.

It will be a different feel on Saturday evening as Glasgow-based Roddy Hart and the Lonesome Fire, whose eponymous debut album was nominated for the Scottish Album of the Year award in 2014, bring their atmospheric sound to the show stage.

There’s also a range of entertainment options for fans of all ages to enjoy across the venue, including a free American Golf Show, a range of food and drink from local suppliers and live cooking exhibitions using local produce, plus fun family activities including a bungee run, inflatable obstacle course, play bus, carousel, face painting and nature trail.

Fans will also be able to support the tournament charities Gillian’s Saltire Appeal and Maggie’s through various fun activities, including donning tartan attire to take part in Tartan Friday on July 14 for the chance to win spot prizes.

Before the tournament gets under way, Tuesday evening sees the return of the Hero Challenge as golfing stars including Stenson, Alex Levy and Russell Knox competing in a one-hole shoot out, while celebrity guests entertain the crowd with their own knock-out challenge.
