Anirban Lahiri is through to the weekend at the Scottish Open. Five birdies and a round of 67 powered him to make the cut. Finishing five under par 67 he picked birdies on 3, 5, 7 holes and a couple on 11 and 15, keeping his round bogey free.
He tweeted right after the round, crediting his tartan pants for good luck.

Padraig Harrington, Alexander Knappe and Callum Shinkwin will all head into the weekend at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open in a share of the lead at nine under.
Ian Poulter said we he was pretty pleased. “I think I was more balanced in my swing, even though I hit a few loose ones today which I wasn’t very happy about. I putted nicely again which is kind of going in the right direction, always nice to see a few putts going in. So, overall assessment, pretty good. I’d like to just whip to the range in the rain for five minutes to hit five drivers, I was losing that a little right but the rest of the bag felt very good.”
