For Lahiri – all of 26 – this is a new phase and his to be wife plans to accompany him on tour as he plays across the Asian Tour events or travels to Europe. Queen’s Cup and Asian Tour next week would be looking forward to welcoming Lahiri’s better half. “I’ll be getting married and it is the beginning of my new life. I think it is really an exciting time for me. It helps when your personal life is going well. It puts your mind at ease and it allows you to play your best,” Lahiri shares.

Lahiri has been seeing doing some practise for domestic-hood. One such effort was cooking some delicious dishes to put his grill skill to test. He marinated, tossed and tawa-fried some great fish on the sidelines of a tournament recently. And after when he had proved to himself that his rankings were well placed at this tournament in the kitchen, he went around Cochin (where he was playing those days) testing the ‘meen moilee’ and curry preparations. The young golfer admitted he is a foodie and loves his fish and so nothing could become between the two. Jamwal’s option may only be to master the fish recipes for they say of Bengalis that the key to their heart is through their stomachs.
