April 27, 2014. Anirban Lahiri’s performance at the CIMB Indonesian Masters has proved that the young Indian is a player par excellence. Winning the Indonesian Masters cements his position on the Asian Tour as a prolific player and promises to surge him up on the Order of Merit. He displayed grit, consistency and some solid golf. Going low came each to the Bangalore boy who shot round of 69 and 64 to bulk up his game on day two and three. This tournament yet again adds a feather in his cap as Lahiri has been pretty much unstoppable for the last few years.

An eagle at 18th put the tournament in the bag for the young lad who consistently played the four rounds at CIMB Niaga and put up a serious show. Without the eagle, Lahiri was heading towards a playoff with Korea’s BAE-Seuk-Hyun. Nothing’s over till it really is and the last putt was indeed god sent for this Lahiri who recently got engaged to young Ipsa Jamwal.
