October 25, 2013. In the second round of the CIMB Classic at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, Keegan Bradley shot a 6-under 66 and  took 4- strokes lead through 36 holes over first round leader Ryan Moore.

While, Shiv Kapur of India could not improve over his first round scores and slipped to 13th place with a score of five-under 70.

Gaganjeet Bhullar could better his Thursday’s position to move up to lie at 33 after carding two-under 70 at the end of Friday’s game.

Anirban Lahiri could not match up to his last week’s magic at Macau but certainly made upswing over his first round performance to move up tied 42 after carding two under 70 to enter weekend.

Bradley, who ranked second on TOUR last season in total driving, has hit 24 of 28 fairways en route to making 14 birdies through 36 holes.

“Yeah, (driving distance) is a big advantage, but I’m also hitting the ball super straight,” Bradley said. “It’s hard to remember a time where I’ve been more dialed in than these last two days.”

The course is new to most players in the field — including Bradley — and it has proven to reward those who place importance on accuracy.

“It is challenging. It’s very tight. You have to drive the ball straight. But like you said there are a lot of holes I can hit drivers over and par 5s are reachable for me. So it’s a really good course for me.”

Bradley owns the four-shot lead over first-round leader Ryan Moore (72). Kiradech Aphibarnrat (69) and Chris Stroud (69) are five shots back at 8 under.

Aphibarnrat played the first two rounds with U.S. stars Phil Mickelson, who is 3 under on the week, and Nick Watney, who sits at even par.

Marc Leishman, who had the round of the day at 65, and Sergio Garcia (71) were at 7 under.

Bradley finished 10th in the FedExCup standings in 2013, recording a career-best seven top-10 finishes. With FedExCup points available for the first time here beginning this season, Bradley would earn 500 points with a victory.
