I haven’t played for two weeks straight and I was just not there yesterday. I couldn’t trust my swing and wasn’t sure of my yardages or my ball flight. It was kind of a guessing yesterday. I didn’t do too badly but hit one or two bad shots and that kind of switched my brain off. It was much better today in terms of my body responding to my mind.

Yesterday, I was visualizing something and something totally different was happening. I guess that happens when you don’t play much. I’m happy I managed to gain some ground. Two more days, we’ll see what happens.

I hit it really good today but putted poorly to say the least. Just made one bogey with a three putt. Probably missed only two greens all day. I had 33 putts to shoot three under. Hit it really good. It’s not an easy course to hit many greens and fairways and I did that. I just need to rest a little bit like I did yesterday. I’m not 100 per cent fit as I’ve been fighting a runny nose and a heavy head. It was nice to just have a normal round of golf.

I hope so (to shoot a low round in the weekend). Today could have been a really low one. If I can keep hitting it like this, I’m sure there is a low round in there.

You play courses like this, like Wack Wack (in Manila), you don’t see too many guys running away with it. I’m one over par, if I shoot seven or eight under over the weekend, I might have a great chance of winning.
