Sep 2, 2016: As well as spectacular scenery day one in the Omega European Masters at Swiss Alps provided us plenty of high-quality golf and some very impressive numbers. Flick through the best of them here…

4 – we have four co-leaders after round one, with Mike Lorenzo-Vera, Paul Peterson, Daniel Brooks and Grégory Havret all at the top.

191 – the number of places joint-leader Peterson has jumped in the Official World Golf Ranking since his D+D REAL Czech Masters win.

2Daniel Brooks made back-to-back eagles at the par five 14th and 15th – we had 19 eagles overall on day one in the Swiss Alps.

64 Lorenzo-Vera’s six under par round was his lowest in seven years since he shot 64 in the 2009 Madrid Masters.

7 – under par in his last 13 holes saw Havret charge through the field after a quiet start.

31 – players are within three shots of the lead on a packed looking leaderboard.

262 – birdies for Miguel Angel Jiménez at the Omega European Masters since 1999. The Spaniard made five during his three under par first round 67.

11 – top tens in his career for the charismatic Spaniard in Crans Montana.

74 – under par for Danny Willett in his 29 rounds at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club – the defending champion is five under par after his first round.

19 – rounds in the 60s from the 29 rounds of the Masters champion at one of his favourite courses.

1849 – World Number 1849 Mathias Eggenberger is the highest placed Swiss in the field after he carded an opening round of four under par.
