Divesh Rana wins Lufthansa Juniors

January 12, 2015: The Noida Golf Course nurtured a few aspirations on Saturday. In the fifth tournament of Lufthansa Junior Golf Tour with 101 young golfers participating in the event. In category A, Divesh Rana won the title with 31 points with a three point edge over Anmol Handa. The tournament was played in the Stableford points system.

In category B, Harshjeet Singh Sethi emerged victor with 28 points in a close battle with Ishit Mehta who was just one point behind. In the category A+B Girls Tarinni Sameer Kakar was the winner with 18 points with Triman Saluja in second place.

Among the boys category C, Eshaan Sethi and Tanmay Rakheja both finished with 29 points, but the former was declared winner on count back.  In category D Boy, Arjun Bhati won with 29 points with a nine point lead over Jai Bahl.

Gia Lamba won the category C+D Girls with 19 points, with a seven point margin over the runner-up Nanki Singh. In  category E Boys & Girls, Vinamra Anand won the title with 19 points ahead of Kuldeep Singh Dhesi who managed 17 points.

There were also spot prizes offered for specific excellence –

Yatra Closest to Pin     – Winner – Jasnam Swani with 13’3’’.

Straight Drive              – Winner – Ojas Anan – On line.

Closest to Pin 2           – Winner – Arjun Gulati with 10’2’’.
