Indian duo Gaganjeet Bhullar and Anirban Lahiri has made dismal debut at ISPS HANDA World cup of golf on day one at Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

November 21, 2013. Indian duo Gaganjeet Bhullar and Anirban Lahiri has made dismal debut at ISPS HANDA World cup of golf on day one at Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

 

In a 60 member stellar field, Gaganjeet  is at the bottom of the leader board after finishing with eleven-over-82 in the first round. While, compatriot Anirban Lahiri is tied 21 after carding first round of 72.

 

Thomas Bjorn of Denmark shares the lead with American Kevin Streelman afte  ended day with an impressive round of 66.

 

India’s best showing in the World Cup in recent years was a ninth place finish by Atwal and Randhawa in 2005. This year’s ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf  offers USD seven million for the individual category and USD one million for teams who are eligible with two players represented at the event.
