May 5, 2018: Former International Golf Professional , Amandeep Johl conducted a “Introduction to the basics of golf’ clinic for the lady golfers of Noida Golf Club on 4th May at the Noida Sports Stadium-Golf range. 18 ladies participated and all of them got an insight into the fundamentals of the game and busting the myths that surround it. The two hour session was followed by individual attention on their swing techniques by Amandeep.
The clinic was initiated by lady Captain- Mrs. Kiran Chowdhury with a single objective to help improve the golfing skill of the ladies of Noida Golf Club and to bring more and more of them into the fold of this wonderful game .
The management of the Golf Driving Range has been recently taken over by Amandeep Johl Golf Academy in April. It has already been spruced up to provide a different golfing experience to its users with new mats, improved turf , new range balls and a all new Golf café.
The interactive Golf session ended with a long driving competition that was conducted by the newly installed ball tracking simulator at the range , the GC2 . Ms. Simran Bajaj emerged as winner with a drive of 189 yds.
Two more clinics are scheduled on 10th and 18th May for the ladies to cover short game , putting and shot shaping including shots from difficult lies . All these to help the ladies reduce their golf handicap.
The Ladies sessions shall be followed by Clinics for the juniors and Men of Noida, both beginners and aspiring golfers.
