Lahiri flying high in Indonesia

Halfway through the third round, Anirban Lahiri of India has taken top spot in CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters.

April 26, 2014: Halfway through the third round, Anirban Lahiri of India has taken top spot in CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters. Led by Lahiri, four Indians are trending in top ten names on the leaderboard of US$ 750,000 event at Royale Jakarta Golf Club.

 

Lahiri, who finished tied 10th on Friday has fired seven birdies to scale nine spots to reach top of the leaderboard after 12 holes. Three-time Asian Tour title winner’s Saturday is bogey-free till ongoing 14th hole. Lahiri is on a look out for maiden win outside his home soil.

 

Following closely is Rashid Khan, placed at 4th place. Going into 15th hole, Rashid made five birdies and an eagle against one bogey. Playing his third game on the Asian Tour, Rashid will be looking for good show in Indonesian Masters.

 

Seasoned Jyoti Randhawa has joined compatriot SSP Chowrasia for ninth spot half through round three in Jakarta.
