Sep 2, 2016: Romain Langasque picked up four shots on Friday morning to join the leaders on day two of the Omega European Masters.

The Frenchman is making a big splash on the Challenge Tour this season and leads the Road to Oman standings but this is just his fifth European Tour event.

The 21 year old made the cut on his Masters Tournament debut after winning the Amateur Championship in 2015, then finished in the top 35 at the 100th Open de France and is now beginning to make his mark at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club.

An eagle on the par five 14th was sandwiched by birdies on the 11th and 17th as he moved to six under after 11 holes.

Playing partner Andrew Johnston had hit the front with birdies on the 14th and 15th but a bogey on the 17th saw him slip back into a share of the lead.

Overnight leaders Paul Peterson and Mike Lorenzo-Vera were not due out until the afternoon session.

Defending champion Danny Willett was then in a group of eight players on five under who were heading out in the afternoon, with no player on course at that mark.

Swede Alex Noren was three under for his first nine holes to sit at four under for the week, alongside Englishmen Daniel Brooks, David Howell, Callum Shinkwin, Graeme Storm and Steve Webster.

Storm had been at seven under after turning in 32 but dropped three shots in his next three holes.
