Nov 10, 2016: The American golfer Beth Allen is in form and playing extremely well this season. She is coming off successive victories – in France and Abu Dhabi. Beth Allen is being followed closely by fans as she pursues a hat-trick this week in the Hero Women’s Indian Open 2016. All eyes will be on her this Friday at the DLF Golf and Country Club, when the tournament starts.

Touted by many, including defending champion Emily Pederson, as their toughest competitor, Beth’s game particularly in the week will generate interest among golf fans all over the world as she tries to seal her place at the top of the order of merit.

“Abu Dhabi was only last week so I feel like I am still in form and I am feeling confident. This course I think suits me because difficult golf courses are good for my game. I have got a good chance and I am excited,” said the No.1 golfer who donated one of her kidneys to her ailing brother in 2011.

About playing on the Gary Player golf course, Beth is of the opinion, “I have only played it twice- once in the Pro-Am and once a practice round a night before that. I am going to play it as much as I can just before the tournament so I know the conditions. I am sure I will feel prepared when the tournament begins.”

The California born Beth turned pro in 2005 and has played over 150 tournaments in her decade long professional golf journey. She has three LET wins under her belt and has been warmly embraced on the Ladies European Tour.

The US $ 400,000 HWIO 2016 will see Beth testing herself against a strong field consisting of quality players like Caroline Hedwall, Emily Pederson, Becky Morgan, Gwaldys Nocera and India’s Olympic golfer Aditi Ashok.
