November 21, 2013. There’s another impressive side of Bollywood actor R Madhavan, which few are aware of, his immense passion for the game of golf. In public eye, only his acting skills are measured but fans will be surprised to know that his talent in golf is equally commendable.
It has been revealed that Madhavan is also a pro on the golf course. He even paired with golf champion Jeev Milkha Singh at a tournament in Dubai last year.
“Golf has always been a passion over the years. To better my game I trained in the US. To be paired with Jeev Singh was a huge honor and I hope to someday be prepared enough to participate in senior tournaments,” Madhavan was quoted in an India Today report.
The Tanu weds Manu and 3 Idiots star has been playing golf for years now. He has been trained at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in the Unites States.
Media reports also suggest that actor has taken a break from movies to prepare himself to participate in a major tournament in coming months. He also nurtures a dream to represent his country in a golf tournament.
After all, one life to live, go ahead Madhvan!
