Rookie Shweta Galande had bagged her maiden win on the Hero Women’s Pro Tour nine under par 201 in three rounds at the Bangalore leg of the tournament at Clover Greens. The third – though her weakest in three – scored 69 with mostly pars, two bogies and birdies on 2nd, 6th and 17th.
Delhi girl Simi Mehra may a real comeback with a solid 65 after slipping during the second round with a 75. She was on a birdie blitzkrieg starting with 2nd, 6th, 9th and clutch of three getting in a hat trick at 12th, 13th and 14th. She ended six under par 204.
Homegrown golfer Bangalorean Sharmila Nicollet-back from her injury – played consistent golf through the three rounds 70-69-69 to finish with a two under. She started the final round with a birdie but was set back by bogies on 4th, 6th and 11th.
