MS Dhoni is back in news, not just for returning to domestic cricket after eight years, turning up for his home side Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare trophy.
The Indian skipper participated in a two-day Executive Golf Invitational event at the Phoenician Golf Club in USA over the weekend.
Dhoni was in Arizona to kick off the inaugural Winning Ways™ Executive Golf Invitational, hosted by Rhiti Sports and promoted and executed by IntraEdge Inc, an IT services company based in Arizona, founded by Indian American entrepreneur Kal Somani.
Dhoni also said that the proceeds from the tournament, which included a silent auction comprised of cricket memorabilia signed by him, would go to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Indian Army.
Some 100 odd amateur golfers were to participate in the invitational. There were several entertaining activities on the range, including closest to the pin and longest drive challenges, apart from the hole-in-one challenge.
