January 24, 2013: India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar slided further low on the leader board after carding one-over-70 in the third round of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters on Friday. Bhullar(67-70-73) carded four bogeys and three birdies in the third round, which led to his decline.

However, Shiv Kapur (68-71-71) added another one-under-71 to rise to be best placed Indian at 23rd place. He shot five birdies againt four bogeys.

But Jeev Milkha Singh (71-71-73) had to satisfy with one-over-73 on Friday. Injury ridden Jeev had a disappointing start on front nine but fought back by shooting birdies on 16th, 17th and 18th. He shot five birdies and five bogeys in total to end the day tied 57th on the leaderboard.

Meanwhile, Steve Webster climbed at the top of the leaderboard to share lead with Spaniard Rafa Cabrera-Bello, with a total three round score of 204, to move into final round.

English pro and two-time European Tour winner, Webster shot a round of 70 to remain twelve under on Friday. However, midway leader Rafa had a disappointing day to end with one-over-73 but retained his  contention for the top positionwith Webster.

Cabrera-Bello, a native of the Canary Islands, looks very much at home on The European Tour’s desert swing since bagging the Dubai Desert Classic title  in 2012. He was tied fourth in  last week’s Abu Dhabi Golf Championship. He will on a prowl to add another desert title to his name as the tournament enters its final day.
