April 21, 2015: Our golfers are out in force this week in Indonesia. There are ten Indians among the starters at the Indonesian Masters in Jakarta this week – lead by Rashid Khan and Arjun Atwal. With two hours separating us from Jakarta, Angad Cheema will be the first Indian to tee off from the first hole on Thursday when he strikes the ball at 0830hrs IST.

Chiragh Kumar will have an opportunity to understand the diversities that separate Africa from America when he tees off along side Wallie Coetsee and Brett Munson at 0900hrs.

Khalin Joshi is in the next group and his recent form suggests that the young golfer could impress an international field with his steady game both on the fairways and greens. He tees off at 0910hrs.

Himmat Rai will be the next to hit the tee, the last of the Indians to start from the first tee. The first two days will see the golfers out in three balls, to decide who might make the weekend.

Abhijit Chadha will be the first Indian off the tee at 0820hrs, even though he will start from the tenth tee. Gaganjeet Bhullar will have Chapchai Nirat and Rikard Karlberg for company when he shoots his first ball at 0850hrs, also from the 10th tee.

Rashid Khan needs a good tournament after he has played a limited season so far. He will start at 0900hrs with Rory Hie and Marcus Both.

Rahil Gangjee starts much later, around 1325hrs when he takes to the 10th tee with Paul Peterson and Jeunghun Wang.

Arjun Atwal is in a star studded group with Lee Westwood and Y E Yang. The trio start at 0205pm. Chikkarangappa also starts around the same time, albiet in another group.

The week promises plenty of excitement for Indian fans, with some marquee names featuring at this week’s Asian Tour event. We will keep you tuned into all the action right here.
