Aug 28, 2013. Shweta Galande is the rookie in town who is scorching the Women’s Pro Tour golf scene. With another 66 in R2, she has shot herself right to the top of the leader board. With birdies on 9th, 10th, 12, 15th, 17th and 18th she managed her round well at the par-70 Clover Greens Golf Course in Bangalore. The Pune golfer, Galande who has been very impressive in her first two outings on the tour.
Simi Mehra, leader from day one had a bit of a collapse with a 75 during R2 set back by bogies and double bogies in the front nine.
Trailing Shweta was amateur Aditi Ashok whose round of 70 was a shade below her 68 during R1.
The comeback story, Sharmila Nicollet surged up the leaderboard with another consistent round of 69.
