September 17, 2016: Two time MVP Stephen Curry used his time off from basketball to play some golf with the President of the United States. Curry decided to opt out of the Olympics to rest and recover from a bruising season of NBA, where the Warriors lost in the final.

Curry was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last week for a nice conversation with the first lady Michelle Obama and the talk show hostess.

The Warriors’ superstar revealed on the show that his handicap of two wasn’t enough to defeat the President on the course, but refused to divulge Barack Obama’s handicap.

The President’s handicap has been a guarded secret, despite Obama taking to the greens very often during his two terms in office.

Ellen tried to tease Curry into revealing some details, but the ace basketballer refused to be drawn into it. Curry said, he is “a better golfer” than the President, but insisted that he could say no more. “I was told not to disclose that information,” said Curry in a playful manner.

When Curry joked about being trash talked by the President, the first lady came to his defense, with a bit of nudging by Ellen. “Talk about his ears,” advised Michelle. “If you’re putting, you want to say – the shadow from your ears is really messing up my putt.”

“There would be like a four-foot putt, and in the friendly games where you’re not really playing for money or betting or anything, usually it’s a gimme, you just pick it up,” said Curry.

“During his speeches, he has that slow cadence that kind of draws you in,” Curry explained. “He brings that same kind of vibe to his trash talk. So I’ll hit a shot out of bounds, and he’ll just look like, ‘Yeah, that’s not a good shot. I’m going to need you to do better next time.’ So he gets under your skin, too, because I’m like, ‘I know. I hit out of bounds.’ “
