June 18, 2016: Weather played truant on Saturday, forcing the golfers on and off the course at Golf Park Pilsen in the Czech Republic. Aditi Ashok endured two rain interruptions to post a second straight 71, but some outstanding golf from the ladies meant that the Indian survived a 27 spot slip to make the cut in the Tipsport Golf Masters. Stacey Keating produced a sensational 64 to edge ahead of her rivals at the end of 36 holes.

Whitney Hillier rose like a phoenix, rising 65 spots to T6 on the strength of a sizzling 64 in the second round. Four women made 65 including Nanna Madsen, Albane Valenzuela, Pamela Pretswell and Lydia Hall. With so many women placed within five shots off the lead, the Ladies European Tour is set to enjoy a thrilling spectacle on Sunday.

Aditi was inside the top 20 at one point during her second round, but she conceded shots on her second nine to end the day in even par 142.

Starting on the 10th hole, Aditi was in great form, rolling past the turn in just 34 shots before rain forced her into the club house to play the waiting game.

The break hurt her rhythm. After playing ten holes without conceding a shot and producing a fine birdie at the 407 yard par-5 14th hole, Aditi took six shots at the par-4 second hole.

But in a characteristic show of defiance, the Bengaluru golfer produced two birdies in the next three holes to go back to under par.

Aditi made bogey again at the 136 yard 7th hole to fall back to even terms with the course. That is where she finished going into the final round on Sunday.

The Indian has made 12 starts on the tour thus far, clinching two top ten finishes. She will need a great comeback tomorrow to add to that tally.
