Jan 10, 2019: The 2019 Omega Dubai Desert Classic is one of the most eagerly anticipated editions of the tournament as it celebrates 30 years. The excitement is already building and tickets are selling fast as fans look to witness world class golf at the stunning Emirates Golf Club.

New for 2019, and certain to be popular with visitors, the ‘Barasti Deck’ on the 15th hole will offer all ticket holders the opportunity to enjoy  a bite to eat and beverage options as they watch the drama unfold. Spectators can take advantage of the special 30th edition ticket offer of just AED 75 per day (reduced from AED 175!) or AED 250 for a four-day season pass (Thursday to Sunday).

Fans looking to enhance their experience at the ‘Major of the Middle East’ can share in the excitement and drama of this prestigious occasion with over 10 hours of fully inclusive hospitality on the Clubhouse Terrace and carine Hospitality. Packages are available from AED 795 per person.

2019 Tournament Village

In addition to watching the best golfers in the world go through their practice rituals on the driving range, there are plenty of other activities to keep spectators entertained at Emirates Golf Club as part of the General Admissions ticket.

The Tournament Village will be a hub of activity for spectators, with numerous food and beverage outlets and giant TV screens to keep an eye on the golf. Fans will also be able to purchase official tournament merchandise at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic shop.

Spectators will also have the chance to try their luck with the Emirates NBD Million Dirham Putt.  One lucky winner will have the chance to make a 60ft putt in front of thousands of eager viewers during the prize presentation for the ultimate one million Dirham prize.

Within the Tournament Village there will be a host of fun activities to keep the youngsters entertained including a Kids Zone, Golf Simulator and Mini Golf – where kids can put their golf skills to the test in a fun and friendly environment.

The ‘Major of the Middle East’ was born in 1989 when the European Tour visited the Middle East for the first time. During its 30 years the tournament has seen 24 different winners from 13 different nations.

The 30th edition of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic will be held at Emirates Golf Club from 24 – 27 January 2019.
