Amandeep Drall on what it takes to win

This win is really special because I shot the best round of my career so far. And to pull off a win after losing out on the lead in the middle of the round and trail by a shot standing on the last tee was nerve wrecking.

My first win as a pro came in Bangalore and so did my second. My game is in great shape right now. I’ve been really consistent throughout. This win is really special because I shot the best round of my career so far. And to pull off a win after losing out on the lead in the middle of the round and trail by a shot standing on the last tee was nerve wrecking. It was a test of patience and nerves. Playing a tricky flop shot over the rock without any view of the flagstick was a test of skills. But I pulled off the shot and it was enough to land me my second win. It really means a lot as my hard work is paying off and also gives me a positive boost of moving in the right direction and working even harder.

Being a rookie on the tour and playing against some really experienced and talented players is truly an honour. And I need to put in my best to beat them. My coach Jesse Grewal has been my constant guiding support and helping me improve my game. He also inspires me a lot . My fitness coach Sagar Diwan who really pushes my limits and never let me give up. Irina [Brar] Ma’am for my mental strength. The support of my parents have also been tremendous. They stood by me in my journey through up n downs. I really grateful to my dad for believing in me and letting me follow my dreams and for always watching my back.
