The palms, the breeze and the meen moilee made Cochin Masters a most worth it experience. The short nine hole play for all players meant there was lot of time to spend within the hotel resort or just sightseeing around the city. But Golfingindian.com got its antennas out to get the real elements at play.

SCORING HIGH GANGJEE?

>Rahil Gangjee managed to shoot pretty well. He scored not only at the golf course but also with his in-laws who live in Trisshur. After his second round, Gangjee went straight for a power lunch and stayed back to chill in god’s own country. Or in-law’s own country shall we say?

COOKING UP A STORM

>Southern Spice took a new meaning when Anirban Lahiri, Digvijay Singh and Chikk hit the gas …a bit literally. They got behind the burners and got tossing instead of teeing it up. Out came the knives, no not against each other, but to perfectly slice the fish, dip it in the masalas and get ahead on the stir fry.

OOH… GETTING FISHY WITH IT

>Anirban not only cooked and had his self-made fish, he went around town testing the ‘meen’ moilee and curry preparations around the city. He admitted he is a foodie and loves his fish and so nothing could become between the two. When asked if his sightseeing and food escapades included some shopping for his to-be wife? Pat came the answer, “No, I don’t want to set a precedent that would get me into trouble in the future.”

IRON PLAY HUH?

>After a breezy morning negotiating the young and erratic greens at the Cochin golf course, Siddharth Semwal and Mandeo Singh Pathania found themselves at the gym to pump some iron. That’s more than their share of exercising when you have the next day’s play on your mind.
