Sentosa, Singapore, April 21: Thai star Kiradech Aphibarnrat has jumped into 78th position on the latest Official World Golf Ranking following his victory in China on Sunday.

 

The former Asian Tour number one rose back into the top-100 from his previously 116th position following his third career victory.

 

A total of 13 Asian Tour members currently feature in the world’s top-200, led by current Asian Tour number one Anirban Lahiri who sits in 35th position. Thai star Thongchai Jaidee is ranked 45th where he and Lahiri are also on course to qualify for the International Team to compete in the Presidents Cup against the United States in Korea in October.

South African superstar Ernie Els, an Honorary Member and International Ambassador of the Asian Tour, is 80th on the rankings followed by Australian Scott Hend who is in 100th position.

 

Other Asian Tour members in the world’s top-200 are Andrew Dodt of Australia (119th), K.J. Choi of Korea (131st), Thailand’s Prom Meesawat (142nd), Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand (163rd), American David Lipsky (166th), S.S.P. Chawrasia of India (172nd), Thaworn Wiratchant of Thailand (189th) and Filpino Antonio Lascuna (195th).
