September 21, 2013. Ace golfer, Arjun Atwal is back in action on Asian Tour. The 2010 Wyndham Champion will be playing next month in Korea and move on to participate in Macau Open. The 40-year-old golfer tweeted his plan on Friday.

“Planning on playing Korea and Macau,” Atwal tweeted. “Should be fun,” he further added.

Atwal will first head for US$750,000 CJ Invitational, an event hosted by Korean Golfer K J Choi. The tournament is being held at Haesley Nine Bridges Golf Club in Seoul from October 10-13.

He will next move to Macau Golf and Country Club to play at Macau Open. The Venetian Macau Open, $800000 event is scheduled for October 17-20, where fellow Indian Gaganjeet Bhullar is defending Champion.

Kolkata’s pro golfer since 1995 is the first Indian to become member of US based PGA Tour, who went on to register sole victory by an Indian on PGA Tour in 2010.

India’s star, Atwal has been struggling with miserable form for quite some time. It is yet to be seen that his comeback on Asian Tour schedule offers him a new lease to his otherwise celebrated golfing career.

Arjun Singh Atwal (born 20 March 1973) is an Indian professional golfer who has played on the Asian Tour and the European Tour and is the first player born in India to become a member of, and later win a tournament on the U.S.-based PGA Tour.
