Caddy golf tees off in Kensville

About 40 caddies from three golf courses in Gujarat teed off in inaugural Caddy Golf League at Kensville Golf Club.

April 21, 2014: About 40 caddies from three golf courses in Gujarat teed off in inaugural Caddy Golf League at Kensville Golf Club. Starting today, the tournament will be played through three consecutive Mondays.

 

Shiraz, a caddy at Kensville Golf Club, shot a round of 44 to win the best card in host club category. Dinesh shot a round of 45 to finish as runners up.

 

Vikram Day of Kalhaar Greens won the guest club category with a round of 45. Prahlad of Kalhaar was the runners up of guest club category with a round of 46.

 

Rajesh Solanki was the winner of closest to pin contest with distance of 7ft.3in. Dinesh of Kalhaar was the winner of straight drive contest with the distance of 8 inches.

 

The tournament is an initiative to provide golfing opportunities to caddies.
