March 26, 2016: Chandigarh is the melting pot of sport this weekend with the crucial India – Australia game set for a Sunday date. There is pressure on the team and a palpable tension has started gripping fans across the country ahead of this virtual quarterfinal. One person that needs to keep calm amidst the rising temperatures is Indian captain MS Dhoni. He made his way to the Chandigarh Golf Club on Friday for some golf and perhaps some soul searching to prepare for the vital game.

As the game grows in popularity across the country, more and more cricketers seem to be discovering the joy of golf as they seek solace beyond their heavily commercialised sport.

Given the enormous attention that cricketers receive, golf offers them a unique form of respite. The pursuit of golf allows these stressed out cricketers an opportunity to test themselves in a relaxed setting enveloped in the arms of naturally beautiful surroundings.

The Indian team arrived in Mohali on Thursday. They were slated for a three hour practice session at the PCA Stadium on Saturday. The winner of the encounter against Australia while the other team reaches the end of the road in this World T20 competition.
