June 11, 2016: India’s Chiragh Kumar made his move up the leaderboard with a second round even-par 72 to take a share of 15th place at the Lyoness Open on Friday.

Kumar, who opened with a 71, is six shots back of leaders Zander Lombard and France’s Gregory Bourdy with his two-day total of one-under-par 143.

China’s Wu Ashun remains the leading Asian player in tied-eighth place on 141 at the European Tour event where Canada’s Richard T. Lee safely made it to the weekend rounds right at the cutline with his 147 total.

Over at the FedEx St Jude Classic on the PGA TOUR, Korea’s Seungyul Noh slipped to a share of 15th place after struggling to a 72.

The 2010 Asian Tour Order of Merit champion had earlier taken a share of the first round lead with an opening 65.

Korea’s Charlie Wi and India’s Arjun Atwal will also feature in the weekend rounds after posting totals of 138 and 140 respectively.
