November 22, 2013. As the star-studded 7th edition of Hero Women’s  Indian Open makes its debut at Delhi Golf Club between November 28th to 30th, all eyes will be on hottest golfers from across the world lined up for the tournament. The stellar playing field will see 108 golfers from more than 30 countries but some of them will be tracked by galleries for their sheer popularity, looks, glamour and style.

While the Ladies European Tour stars, Nikki Garrett of Australia, French Gwladys Nocera, Charley Hull and Holly Clyburn of England and Australian Danielle Montgomerie will have an opportunity to taste the challenge of tombs of DGC. The highly competitive field will also include the LPGA Tour Money leader P.K. Kongkraphan of Thailand, and India’s sensational Sharmila Nicollet in action.

The 29-year-old sassy Australian golfer Nikki Garrett turned professional in late 2005, and qualified for the 2006 Ladies European Tour (LET). However, she did not win a tournament in her rookie season, but she had four top-ten finishes. In 2007 she collected back to back LET titles at the Tenerife Ladies Open and the Open de Espana Femenino. She would be certainly on a lookout for a fifth title win in India.

Adding Spice to the Hero Open show would be Danielle Montgomery. From England, she is a pro golfer in the Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) Tour. She is 27 and an accomplished swimmer and triathlete, making her state team in both sports. She always adds to the glamour quotient of a tournament.

The greatest attention seeker at the event would be the 17-year-old Charley Hull of England. She came to public attention aged 9, when she won the UK National Ladies Championship at Turnberry. She played alongside Morgan Pressel in the British Open Pro-Am at the age of 10. Hull also competed in the 2012 Women’s British Open, where she was tied for third after the first round. Hull made her professional debut in March 2013. In August 2013, Hull was selected by European Solheim Cup captain Liselotte Neumann to compete in the 2013 Solheim Cup, the youngest person ever to play in the tournament. With those amazing looks, she has ‘Hull’ of a game!

Holly Clyburn is currently placed sixth in the ISPS Handa Order of Merit 2013 with total earnings of € 109,181 from 14 appearances will also be seen in action this year at the Hero Women’s Indian Open 2013. Her ambition from an early age was always to become a professional golfer and after a very good amateur career. With sharp features, a stellar game and supreme confidence to back her, she definitely is adding to the hot factor on the course. She gained full Ladies European Tour card after competing at qualifying school in December 2012 in Morocco.

Sharmila Nicollet will lead home challenge. Nicollet is an Indo French professional golfer from Bangalore. Nicollet turned professional in 2009 when she was 18 years old. She is the youngest Indian golfer to qualify for Ladies European Tour. She is the second Indian to earn a full card on the Ladies European Tour. Pink is her thing and she recently got the award for the Best dressed golf by the India Golf Awards.

Nicollet won the 2009–2010 Order of Merit on the Women’s Golf Association of India and then five further events to finish on top of the 2010– 2011 Order of Merit. With a comeback from injury she is probably hoping for a solid victory now.
