2015 promises to a fantastic year for golf. There is a pick up in the sport’s growth and countries like India and China are adding golfers to their list. Since players are spoilt for choice we get them a diverse set of conversations on golf equipment, what to pick and what to watch out for. Here’s a chat with Romit Bose on what he is looking foward to.
Q: What’s the most useful club in your bag and why?
Romit: My driver. Contrary to popular belief, It ranks as the no 1 area of improvement as far as scoring goes and for me scoring is the bottom line.
Q: What irons do you use, since when and why do they work for you?
Romit: I have always played the muscle back blades from various manufacturers since I was a kid and it gives me the best options of being creative by shaping shots which I love doing on the course.
Q: What golf accessory you cannot do without?
Romit: I can’t do without my Trackman IIIe radar which provides me with accurate ball and swing data which makes it very simple for me to figure out instantly what I do incorrect and how to correct my faults on a day to day basis by taking out the guess work.
Q: What’s on your hot list for 2015?
Romit: Looking forward to getting my hands on my new Tour World golf set as a brand ambassador for Honma. Their craftsmanship and shaft technology is comparable to perfection achieved by the manufacture process of the samurai sword and for me,they will definitely be the hottest.
