June 28, 2014. Gaganjeet Bhullar, the only golfer among that four that started, to make the cut produced a 3-under 69 in the third round. Bhullar was 10-under 206, four strokes off the clubhouse leaders Francesco Molinari and Richard Green. On a day that witnessed several low scoring efforts, Green sailed on a 62 to surge over 50 spots to share the lead with Molinari. The Italian also had an impressive third round, posting a 65 that took him to 14-under 202 alongside Green. At the time of this report, there were still several men still on the course.

Bhullar made birdies at the first and second holes to set himself on course for another good round of golf. He made the turn in 33, with another birdie at the par-4 ninth hole. But his journey to the clubhouse was not as productive, as he offset two birdies with two bogeys, including one at the par-4 18th hole.

The leaderboard at the BMW Open though is looking like a street in Chandni Chowk. There were eight men tied for the lead at 14-under and another bunch of eight men just a shot off the group in front. Incredibly there are 30 men within three strokes of each other going into the final round. Sunday is set to be a mad rush with a busload of men fighting for honours.

Bhullar has been looking for a real satisfying round of golf so far this year and his performance in Dusseldorf must be counted for a contender there. The Kapurthala golfer received the Best Professional Golf of the Year award at the first edition of the India Golf Awards late last year, and the Arjuna Award in December 2013.
