Bubbles Suneja is the captain of the Ladies wing of the Delhi Golf Club. DGC was proud to engage, empower and support junior girls and ladies by supporting their endeavours in playing golf over the last fifty years. They had first timers, juniors, staff children (under the golfing girl child initiative) to participate in skill competitions.
Braving the heat at 42 degrees plus, 60 ladies both new and experienced played golf from Red tees in their Red T shirts from ages 18 to 80 and participated in an enjoyable 9 hole tournament. There was a celebratory gathering with fun events like golf quizzes, fun foods and lots of prizes were won. The event wanted to empower new and experienced golfers alike and teach skills that last a lifetime.
Amongst the ladies who are participating are Situ Nanda , Bubbles Suneja, Anuva Saurabh Monica Tandon, Gurbani Singh, Neelam Pratap Rudy , Arshia Mahant , Anupama Singh, Meok Jeong , Rohini Majithia , Aashana Monga ,Nandita Rao , Usha Chatrath , Sonia Phillip , Tara Laroia , Hanisha Daryani.
