Sujjan Singh may have just remained short of a win at PGTI Players Championship in Chandigarh last week, but his impressive game won him huge accolades from golfing fraternity. The 33-year-old in this candid chat with Rajlakshmi Retesh talks about his future in golf, wife Irina Brar and his newly arrived companion his 16-month-old daughter, Serena.

[Q] You did extremely well at PGTI Players, what kept you short of that title win? [/Q]

[A] Rahil played extremely well and did not make too many mistakes. Due to swing change, I was stammering a bit on third day. It takes time to settle with the new swing. [/A]

[Q] Where are you headed next? [/Q]

[A] I will play in PGTI at Panchkula and then I will be heading to Taiwan a week later. I will next play at CJ Invitational in Korea and then Macau Open. [/A]

[Q] A pro golfer (Irina Singh) living with you, plus she being a mind trainer as well, how much does it influence your game? [/Q]

[A] Irina has a very positive influence on me. She, being a professional golfer herself, Irina advices me on every aspect of the game. Having a qualified psychiatrist at home is a great support. [/A]

[Q] It has been almost 8 years (2005) in professional golf, how do you rate your career graph? Where is it headed? [/Q]

[A] I started playing on Asian Tour in 2011 and my game has picked up well in past three years. My stint in America gave me good exposure and helped me improve my game. [/A]
