The 21-year-old Delhiite, Ankita Tiwana has begun her 2014 season on a positive note, with her first hole in one in her almost three year into pro career. Still awaiting a pro win, Ankita feels this is a good sign of excellent things coming her way. She shares her joy and future plans with Rajlakshmi Retesh of golfingindian.com
[Q] This being your first hole in one, where do you see your game moving here on? [/Q]
[A] It was a great feeling- especially because it was really a good shot; I hit it exactly the way I wanted to. I enjoyed sharing that moment with one my closest friends, Nikki Ponappa, who was on the course with me. I am taking it as a good sign. It seems great thing are in store. [/A]
[Q] You have often been among the top on the leader board, what is delaying a win? [/Q]
[A] Last season, I played without any formal coaching. I started working with Anitya Chand since June last year and he helped me fine-tune my game, which I think is the key ingredient to winning. Everything is coming together now, and a win is imminent. [/A]
[Q] In your third year of pro golf, what are your goals? [/Q]
[A] I am only focusing on playing a lot more under par rounds. [/A]
