Winning ways: Raksha Phadke

Raksha Phadke just won the Usha Southern Ladies and Junior Golf Championship. She wants to be a career golfer and is depending on her skill and luck in equal measure to help her through. She spoke to Chandrani Datta

[Q] How does it feel to put up a stellar performance Usha Southern India Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship 2014? [/Q]

[A] The feeling is amazing because KGA has always been my favorite course and I love Bangalore. [/A]

[Q] What do you attribute your success to- luck or practise? [/Q]

[A] I believe that the more u practice the luckier you get. I have had immense amount of help from my coach Greg Robertson. [/A]

[Q] Which are the next tournaments that you hope to win? [/Q]

[A] I am currently in Mysore for the zonal event. [/Q]

[Q] When dId you have your first encounter with golf? What made you want to take it up? [/Q]

[A] I started when I was 12 with my grandad Anand Pandit just as a side sport to what was my main focus back then
