September 20, 2013. India’s ace golfer, Shiv Kapur ended tied 31st on the second day of Kazakhstan Open Challenge Tour. He was two under 142 post the midway mark. Unlike round one, no eagles today though the Indian began the round with two nice birdies.

Ranked 35th on the Challenge Tour, Shiv chose to skip the KLM open in The Netherlands and Italian Open in Turin, and is playing in Kazakhstan Open, which is the biggest event in the European Challenge Tour.

Shiv has been more consistent this year than any other Indian golfer. 31-year old, Shiv confidence got a greater boost after his exemplary performance at the Open this July. He wrapped up Omega European Masters positioned 26th in the first week of September. He finished 24th on the Rolex Trophy and 18th at the Finnish Open.

He would be moving to Japan, Afghanistan, Taiwan next before taking a week off at home. If he stays in top 10 of the Asian money list, he will play in CIMB classic in Kuala Lumpur and then the grand final in Dubai at the challenge tour and after that, he will set his eyes on the Indian Open.
