August 22, 2015: Shiv Kapur shot one under 70 in the second round of the Made in Denmark at the Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort. With David Horsey gaining a handy three shot lead at 12-under through 36 holes, Kapur was lying T27 at 3-under 139. Jeev Milkha Singh did an encore 71 in the second round to stay a little above the cut line, which fell at 1-over 143. That is exactly where SSP Chawrasia has parked himself after making a 72 in the second round.

Jeev sandwiched a birdie at the second hole, between a bogey at the first and a double at the fifth hole to slip to two over for the round. Singh shot another birdie at the par-4 eighth hole. He dropped a shot at the twelfth but made up for it with birdies at the 14th and 16th holes for a second straight 71.

Kapur was even for the front nine, having nullified the birdie at the third with a bogey at the next hole. After shooting twelve straight pars, Kapur gained one at the 17th before he signed off with a 70 on his card.

Chawrasia made three birdies in his round, at the third, fifteenth and seventeenth – but he was bleeding profusely elsewhere on the card. A bogey at the fifth (par-4) was quickly followed by a double bogey at the sixth hole. He added another at the tenth hole to slip to three over for the day.

Chawrasia did recover to score birdies at 15 and 17, but it was all set by then and he was to sign on the 10th, so that will be it.
