November 14, 2015: Black ribbons adorned golfers on Saturday as they took to the course at various venues around the world. Several European golfers lead the #ParisAttacks tribute from Shanghai in the BMW Masters. Over a hundred people lost their lives while several more were grievously injured in the mindless attacks on Friday night in the heart of Paris.

French players, all seven of them, scrambled to find black clothing in their bags to express their solidarity with their beleaguered compatriots in Paris.

“I hadn’t watched TV this morning so I didn’t know about it until I got to the course,” Dubuisson told AFP after his third round 68. “It’s very sad for all the families of the victims.”

Ryder Cup star Victor Dubuisson, who was the highest-placed Frenchman at tied ninth going into the third round, wore a black top and a black visor.

Compatriot Gregory Bourdy wore all black and a black ribbon while Alexander Levy had a black ribbon pinned to his white cap.
