Oct 30, 2013. At the ongoing WGAI Pro Tour at Jaypee Greens Vani Kapoor produced some stellar game today with a round of 68 taking the lead on Day 2. The Delhi golfer has been the favourite to win after she picked up the prize in the previous tournament.
Leader from day one and a long hitter Sharmila Nicollet managed to put out a great show with a superb round of 67. She got five good birdies today on 2nd, 8th, 10th, 12 and 13th which managed to trim the score on the leader board. The course’s length is clearly suiting the long hitter from Bangalore who can often beat many male golfers at drives. Nicollet who is the only Indian to have retained her LET card for two consecutive years will probably want to continue form to deliver another good round tomorrow.
