Young Adil grabs 6th position at World Junior Golf Masters

12-year-old, Adil competed with 65 best golfer from 35 countries among 11-12 years category.

July 26, 2013. Chandigarh boy Aadil Bedi made the country proud by grabbing 6th position on world junior golf championship. He shot a superb 77, 73 and 73 which includes 10 birdies in 3 days.

 

12-year-old, Adil competed with 65 best golfer from 35 countries among 11-12 years category.He was participating for the second time in the tournament after 2010.

 

He recently finished 9th in the European Championship played in Scotland and has participated in Sydney, Australia, True vision junior golf tournament Bangkok, Thailand, Callaway World Cup in San Diego, California.

 

“I have come better prepared this time and have brought along an Indian flag which I hope to raise high by putting in good performance. Hopefully I will come back with a medal this time around,” Adil has said before leaving for Las Vegas.

 

Born to, Hargunjit Kaur, a national level table tennis player, Adil also likes Football and Hockey but follows a strict schedule when it comes to practicing his passion for golf.

 

Adil started playing golf at the early age of 5 along with his father and slowly got addicted to the game. He finds his inspiration in American golfer Jack Niklaus.
