May 16, 2014: India’s Gagnjeet Bhullar had a tough time on day two at the Open de España at PGA Catalunya Resort as he carded two-over 74 to slip to 27th place. Meanwhile, the second consecutive 69 by Belgian Thomas Pieters has placed him as clubhouse leader on Friday.

Overnight leader Pepperell fired a rollercoaster 71 on second day to reach -5 and remains one shot behind the leader. Pepperell shares second place with Joost Luiten, who matched the score after three under par 69.

Francesco Molinari shot the best card of the day as five-under- 67, to surge up the board to third place.
