June 14, 2016: Dougray Scott and James Nesbitt, who have performed alongside some of the best actors in the world over the past two decades, will be starring at the Costa Smeralda Invitational in less than two weeks’ time.
Teeing it up at the beautiful Pevero Golf Club in Sardinia on June 25, Scott and Nesbitt – playing off 6 and 15 handicaps respectively – will be looking to add a golfing title to the several acting accolades they have picked up over the course of their illustrious careers.
They’ll be joined by tournament host and European Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke, plus 16 other high-profile names from the world of sports and entertainment.
Former Mission Impossible actor Scott and Cold Feet star Nesbitt will see Kapil Dev as the man to beat following the Indian cricket legend’s winning display in the first Costa Smeralda Invitational last year.
Both Scott and Nesbitt will be privy to a clinic delivered by Clarke, a ‘Beat the Pro’ contest with the Ryder Cup captain and a Gala Dinner set to take place after the tournament. During the competition there will be a number of fun challenges for the stars to take on, whilst an exclusive partner’s programme, including spa treatments and winery tour, is also on offer.
