September 28, 2013. All the three Indian golfers at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will be missing the cut, as they remain far below the projected cut mark after their third day of play.

However, the scoring has been good, the leader Peter Uihlein shot 65 and lead by two at 20 under par. The best Indian was SSP Chowrasia (69-73-72) at two-under in 126th place, while Jeev Milkha Singh (71-72-74) at one-over and Gaganjeet Bhullar (72-75-74) at five-over, tied 161, is lurking at the bottom of the leader board.

Chowrasia playing at St. Andrews was well-placed at three-under after 12 holes, but then shot three bogeys in a row and a double bogey on last to slide down.

Jeev playing at Kingsbarns had three birdies against one bogey and one double, followed by another. Bhullar, on the other hand, at Carnoustie had just one birdie against two bogeys and two double at five-over and is sure to miss the cut.

But the highlight of the day was a round of 60 from American Peter Uihlein, who came within inches of posting the first 59 in European Tour history.

Peter Uihlein remains in the lead, Followed closely by Dutch, Joost Luiten, England’s David Howell, first round leader McIvor Richard, Earnie Els, Martin Kaymer and Shane lowry.
