June 29, 2016: The Open Qualifying Series moves to France this week where four places in The 145th Open at Royal Troon are on offer at the 100th Open de France.

The leading four players, who finish in the top 12 and ties and who are not already exempt, will earn a place in The Open from 14-17 July 2016.

The 100th Open de France will be played from 30 June – 3 July at Le Golf National, near Paris.

The Open Qualifying Series continues in the United States at the Barracuda Championship on the PGA TOUR where there will be one place available for the player who finishes in the top five and ties, not already exempt, at Montreux Golf & Country Club in Reno, Nevada from 30 June – 3 July.

In the event of a tie for a qualifying place, the player with the higher ranking in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) at the beginning of the week commencing 27 June will be awarded a place in The 145th Open.
