May 15, 2014: India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar and Jeev Milkha Singh shot an opening round of one-under-71 on the first day of the 89th edition of the historic Open de España to be tied 17th on the leader board.
Eddie Pepperell of England currently leads the tournament. Pepperell posted a fine four-under 68 to emerge as opening round leader.
Jeev shot four birdies against three birdies in his first round. While compatriot Bhullar made two birdies and a bogey on Thursday.
There are nine players sharing second spot at the event, which is being held for the third time at PGA Catalunya Resort, a European Tour Destination
World No. 7 Sergio Garcia is amongst the nine tied 2 after shooting three-under-69.
The elite field of Open de España has 156 players from 24 different countries including 28 Spaniards
