September 23, 2013. Delhi golfer Shiv Kapur finished tied 14th at Kazakhastan Open. This was his best finish, so far, in this year. Ranked 36th on challenge tour, Kapur added € 6,400.00 to his 2013 earnings. With a round of 69 he was seven under 281.

 

The 31-year-old Kapur played extremely well in the final round on Sunday.

 

While, Sweden’s Johan Carlsson wrapped up his maiden European Challenge Tour trophy with a seven-shot victory at the Kazakhstan Open . With this credible triumph, 27-year old has guaranteed himself a full card on European tour next year.

 

Carlsson surged from 39thplace in the Challenge Tour Rankings to fifth and is now looking forward to a rookie season on The European Tour after a rapid rise. He only turned professional in 2011 before pushing through the two developmental tiers of European pro golf in the space of two years.

 

Shiv has consistently played some good golf in last seven games this year. He shot to the top of British Open leader board. He concluded tied 26th at Omega European Masters. He also played well at Rolex Trophy and Finnish Challenge.
