June 13, 2015. World #42 Anirban Lahiri spent a week at home – catching up on sleep on his own bed, some great food – for a mid-year tune up with his coach Vijay Divecha at the Eagleton Golf Resort in Bangalore. Lahiri was happy to be home and rejuvenate for the next few months which promise to be busy and important as he is playing the Majors – both the US Open and The Open at St Andrews.

In an exclusive video chat with golfingindian.com, Lahiri shared the importance of this break and why a short tune-up on technique prepares you better. “The thing is I needed a break having been on the road for nearly three months at length. You are mostly in tournament mode, always playing events and not spending time on thinking technical aspects. It’s a mid year tune up for me before some of the big Majors for me.”
